The idea

While sharing a flat with my college mates, we came up with the idea for a story contained in one balcony (which was also a place where we used to have a lot of conversations) .

We came up with the idea and then I wrote a short story based on it, which later became the foundation for the script of the film.

Test Shoot

We did a shot breakdown with the actors and also recorded the entire conversation as audio. Later I arranged the images and the audio to create a live action animatic for our reference of the final shoot.

Promos

We promoted the film through various channels of social media and word of mouth within the college. There were multiple screenings of the film. Here is one of the promos for the film.

Recognition

It was surreal when " In his Balcony" was selected as a part of a weekly showcase of new voices by Barrel Select, Large short films.
